The Webly blog: selling on WhatsApp in the UAE

Short, sourced answers for UAE businesses that sell through inquiries: what WhatsApp Business API messages cost in AED, how an AI agent answers in Gulf Arabic, how a CRM follows up until the payment, and what each industry needs. Every fact about Meta or a regulator links its source and the date we read it.

Newest first. Each article shows the day we last checked its facts, and the date moves when we update it.

  1. How much does the WhatsApp Business API cost in the UAE in 2026?

What the WhatsApp Business API costs in the UAE in 2026: Meta’s AED rates per message, the 1,000 free service messages, and a clinic’s month worked out.

What do we write about?

The questions owners and sales managers ask before they connect their ads, WhatsApp and CRM, in five topics.

WhatsApp Business API costs and rules

What Meta charges per message in AED, which messages are free, how the 24-hour customer service window works, and what templates, opt-in and business verification involve. How we set the API up on your own number is on our page about the WhatsApp Business API in the UAE.

AI agents that answer in Gulf Arabic

What an AI agent should answer on its own, what it must hand to a person, and how its replies read in Gulf or Emirati Arabic, or in the dialect you ask for. The setup itself is described on the AI sales agent for WhatsApp page.

CRM follow-up until the payment

Pipeline stages, follow-ups on day 1, 3 and 7, an alert when a quote goes quiet, and a payment link that moves the deal to “Paid” when the customer pays. Start with WhatsApp CRM for UAE teams and WhatsApp payment links.

Guides by industry

The same system looks different in a clinic, a training center, a brokerage or a maintenance company. The industry guides explain what patients, parents, buyers and households ask on WhatsApp, and what to automate first: see WhatsApp booking for clinics, CRM for training institutes, real estate CRM in Dubai and WhatsApp automation for service companies.

Ads that open WhatsApp

What a chat from an ad costs you, not a click, and how to see which ad brought the customer who paid. The mechanics are on the page about click-to-WhatsApp ads.

How do we check what we publish?

Before an article goes live, we ask three questions. Is every fact from its primary source? Is every number worked out in front of the reader? Can an owner act on it the next morning?

  • Primary sources only. Facts about Meta, WhatsApp or a UAE regulator come from their own pages, read in a browser on the day we write. Each one links its source and says when we read it.
  • A date on every article. The “Updated” line is the last day we checked the facts. We re-check pricing articles every quarter, and sooner when Meta announces a change.
  • Worked examples, not client stories. We show the arithmetic so you can redo it with your own numbers. We do not name clients or competitors, and we do not invent results.
  • No price list from us. Meta’s rates are public, so we quote them. Our own fee is a custom quote, paid monthly on a 3, 6 or 12-month plan.
  • Plain language. Short sentences, numbers as digits, and every technical term explained the first time it appears, so the article helps the owner, not only the IT team.
  • Arabic for Arabic readers. Each Arabic article answers what Arabic searchers type, in Gulf white dialect. It covers the same facts, but it is written for that reader, not translated line by line.

The articles are written by the Webly team at our office in Sharjah and checked a second time before they go live. You can read more about Webly and how we work.

Questions about the blog

How often do you publish new articles?
Regularly, from a list of the questions UAE business owners ask us most. A new article goes live only after a second check against its sources, so we would rather publish one correct article than two quick ones. The list on this page is always complete, newest first.
Where do your numbers come from?
From the primary source. For WhatsApp, that is Meta’s own pricing page and the AED rate card it links to; for rules, the regulator’s own website. We read them in a browser on the day we write, then link them with the date. Examples that use those numbers show every step of the arithmetic.
What happens when Meta changes its prices or rules?
We check the article again, change what moved, and set a new “Updated” date at the top. Pricing articles are re-checked every quarter. If a figure on a page looks older than Meta’s current rate card, trust Meta’s page and tell us.
I found a mistake. How do I tell you?
Email info@webly.ae with the article and, if you can, the source that shows the right figure. We check it against the primary source, correct the article, and move its “Updated” date.
Is this legal, tax or financial advice?
No. The articles explain how platforms and systems work and what they cost. For rules that apply to your licence or your sector, ask the regulator or your own adviser.
Why don’t you publish your own prices?
Because our fee depends on what you need: one piece of the system or all of it, and how many numbers, branches and languages. So it is a custom quote, paid monthly on a 3, 6 or 12-month plan, and the longer the plan, the lower the monthly price.
Can I suggest a topic?
Yes. Send it through the contact form or by email. Questions that many businesses ask go to the top of our list.
Are the Arabic articles translations?
No. They cover the same facts, but each one answers the question the way Arabic searchers ask it, with examples in Gulf white dialect.
